Santa Baby

I drew this one, obviously for Christmas.  I wanted an old-fashioned St.Nick kind of guy…and this is what I came up with.  I think he’s cute.  He looks like David, my niece’s Dad!!

Wheat Grass Guy

He was used in a brochure for a health-food store.  He is fit and happy and he promotes a healthy lifestyle!

Teddy

This was a gift for a friend’s baby.  Every child needs a teddy bear and sometimes I still would like one.

Wedded Bliss

This represents the ideal marriage.  Notice the hearts gradually getting bigger…to show love growing, of course!!!

Red & Black Rhythms

Red & Black Rhythms is an intaglio print I did in 1978 during my first year of art school. I just went crazy with it. I loved that medium..which, sadly is now obsolete.

Mind’s Eye

Mind’s Eye is a sort of dreamscape. The focal point, obviously the EYE.  But all sorts of things are going on at once. It represents stream of consciousness.

Magical-Do

Magical-Do was actually an entry for a contest. The theme was flowers. I drew a woman with a garden for hair, as all she thinks about are her flowers!!

Ballet Slippers

The ballet slippers were inspired by my sister who loves shoes and my niece who loves to dance! I drew them for a Birthday card. They are very girlie and sweet.

Garden Lady

Garden Lady is a tribute to the past.I love crazy mushrooms and lots of color. This was what I was drawing all through High School. I think she looks like my friend Christine!!!
